AFP reported that Cyclone Mora battered Bangladesh on Tuesday, killing five people, damaging thousands of homes and ripping through a refugee camp for those who had fled violence in Myanmar. Just Earth News and Xinhua, in a similar report, mentioned that IOM deployed three rapid assessment teams to the most affected districts, where 177 people died and 109 remain missing.

Fiji Times reported that Habitat for Humanity Fiji was recognised for its work in the aftermath of Tropical Cyclone Winston at a global awards ceremony recently. IOM was one of the partners for its Build Back Safer Program.
